A. Course Description
This program is designed to prepare teachers and lecturers to teach subjects in English. It is suitable for those who need preparation to deliver their courses in English. The program consists of 20 sessions, conducted either online or offline, along with assignments that participants are required to complete.
The program includes short presentations from instructors, class discussions, video explorations, individual or group assignments, micro-teaching practice/simulations, and many other engaging activities. Participants will have ample opportunities to practice teaching or micro-teaching in English and receive personalized feedback from instructors. This is intended to help participants recognize their improvement throughout the program. In addition, participants will also have the opportunity to teach their own subject matter in English directly to students, providing them with hands-on experience in teaching using English.
B. Course Objectives
After completing this program, participants are expected to be able to:
1. Explain the basic principles of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) in terms of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL).
2. Use basic English-based classroom language expressions to teach their subject courses.
3. Use basic English-based classroom management language to communicate effectively with students in English.
4. Design an English-based CLIL lesson plan.

3. Classroom language.
4. Classroom management.
5. Strategies in Implementing EMI.
D. Instructor
The teaching instructors consist of:
SS1. Native speaker.
SS2. Expert in English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI).
SS3. Expert in a specific English language skill.
SS4. Practitioner in English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI).
E. Schedule and Course Fee
◉ Schedule: Schedule will be set after registration based on the agreement between the participants and the instructors.
◉ Duration: 20 meetings (40 hours)
◉ Course fee: Tel-U: IDR9.500.000/class | Non Tel-U: IDR10.545.000/class
◉ Participant: Maximum number of participants: 5 persons
F. Registration
1. Fill out the registration form at di Course Registration Form collectively by one person.
2. Wait for the LaC admin to confirm your registration after the course registration closed. LaC admin will send the payment procedure to the participant after the schedule and instructors are confirmed.
3. Make the payment as the following procedure Payment Guide and upload proof of payment at Proof of Payment Upload Form.
4. Take the course.
