A. Course Description
Do you want to master Indonesian to communicate with Indonesians? or you want to continue your study in Indonesia? This is the right program for you to study Indonesian. BIPA Telkom University provides Indonesian as a Foreign Language Program which will help you learn Indonesian in real contexts and situations through the assignments giving you experience to speak and interact with Indonesians while expanding your vocabulary and language skills at the same time. This program will also give you the opportunity to explore more about the Indonesian culture, culinary and tourist interaction, while building your vocabulary and improving your language skills to achieve your goals.
B. Programs & Learning Outcome
There are three programs of BIPA Telkom University courses:
1. Regular Program
Regular BIPA Program is designed to help participants learn to communicate in Indonesian in formal and informal situations and contexts.
2. Private Program
Private BIPA Program is one to one (one student, one teacher) for students who want to have a more personalized instructional content and more flexible schedule and settings.
3. Cooperation BIPA Program
Cooperation BIPA Program is based on cooperation between Telkom University and particular institutions such as government and other institutions.
By the end of this program, you will be able to:
S1. use Indonesian in a written form and orally in formal and informal situations and contexts,
S2. interact and confidently use Indonesian with Indonesian people and language learners,
S3. recognize and introduce the variety of tourism, culture and culinary of Indonesia.

(Interpersonal) 3. describe daily activities in the form of short presentations using simple sentences. (Presentational) | 60 hours | 1. Learn Indonesian at your own pace through Telkom University Online Learning 2. Study with a language lecturer 3. Practice speaking Indonesian accompanied by an Indonesian tutor. 4. Have a chance to explore Indonesian culture, culinary and tourist attraction 5. Get personal feedback on your projects, progress and final test |
Basic Indonesian 2 | Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to: 1. identify main ideas and detailed information in a series of simple and short sentences about daily activities. (Interpretive) 2. participate actively in conversations about routine topics using simple sentences. (Interpersonal) 3. describe daily topics and daily activities in the form of simple presentations using simple sentences. (Presentational) | 60 hours | 1. Learn Indonesian at your own pace through Telkom University Online Learning 2. Study with a language lecturer 3. Practice speaking Indonesian accompanied by an Indonesian tutor. 4. Have a chance to explore Indonesian culture, culinary and tourist attraction 5. Get personal feedback on your projects, progress and final test |
Basic Indonesian 3 | Upon completing this level, participants are expected to be able to: 1. identify main ideas and detailed information in short and simple texts. (interpretive) 2. participate actively in brief social interactions in everyday situations by asking and answering simple questions with reasons. (Interpersonal) 3. presents information on familiar topics briefly and coherently with reasons. (Presentational) | 60 hours | 1. Learn Indonesian at your own pace through Telkom University Online Learning 2. Study with a language lecturer 3. Practice speaking Indonesian accompanied by an Indonesian tutor. 4. D. Course Fee
There are two learning modes, online and offline, each with three different levels.

E. Registration
1. Fill out the registration form at Course Registration Form.
2. Wait for LaC to confirm the available schedule and instructor (maximum 2 business days). LaC admin will send the payment procedure to the participant after the schedule and the instructor confirmed..
3. Make payment and upload the payment receipt at Proof of Payment Upload Form.
4. Attend the course according to the set schedule.
