Bandung, Telkom University \u2013 Bekerja sama dengan SMK Telkom Purwokerto dan SMK Telkom Bandung, Pusat Bahasa menyelenggarakan Telkom University Vocational English Examination (TUVEE) pada tanggal 10 & 11 Desember 2020.<\/p>\n
TUVEE merupakan tes yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berbahasa Inggris siswa SMK dalam konteks dunia kerja. Tes ini terdiri dari 100 soal\u00a0listening<\/em>\u00a0dan 100 soal\u00a0reading<\/em>\u00a0dengan durasi pengerjaan kurang lebih 120 menit.<\/p>\n Penyelenggaraan TUVEE kali ini dilaksanakan secara\u00a0online<\/em>\u00a0melalui\u00a0platform\u00a0<\/em>Telkom University MOOC (onlinelearning.telkomuniversity.ac.id) dan aplikasi Zoom Meeting mengingat kondisi pandemi yang tidak memungkinkan siswa-siswi SMK untuk melaksanakan tes di sekolah.<\/p>\n \u201cTes ini bisa menjadi salah satu prediksi level kemampuan bahasa Inggris para siswa dalam konteks bahasa Inggris bisnis dan pekerjaan. Sehingga nanti harapannya hasil yang didapatkan bisa memberikan gambaran kira-kira kalau akan mengikuti TOEIC skornya berada di\u00a0range\u00a0<\/em>berapa.\u201d ucap manajer Pusat Bahasa, Retno Hendryanti, Ph.D.<\/p>\n Tahun ini merupakan peluncuran TUVEE yang ditandai dengan penyelenggaraan TUVEE untuk pertama kalinya bekerjasama dengan SMK Telkom Purwoketo dan juga SMK Telkom Bandung. Penyelenggaraan tes untuk kedua sekolah tersebut berlangsung dengan lancar dan diikuti oleh sebanyak 93 siswa-siswi dari SMK Telkom Purwokerto dan 328 siswa-siswi dari SMK Telkom Bandung.<\/p>\n \u201cAtas nama Telkom University saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pihak SMK Telkom Purwokerto dan SMK Telkom Bandung yang telah memberikan kepercayaannya kepada kami untuk menyelenggarakan tes ini.
